Over the past year Farnrise has been expanding its sporting links, firstly with football and now with cricket.
Farnrise have recently been appointed as Sussex County Cricket Club’s Major Sponsor for the next three seasons. Under the arrangement, which includes Farnrise branding on the club’s outfits, ground boards and certain merchandising, there is an option to extend for a further period.
Farnrise will be supporting cricket at all levels in Sussex and will also be sponsoring the Academy and County Age Group squads along with the area representative teams and the Sussex Women including their junior section.
In addition, Farnrise will be supporting the community work of Sussex Cricket and the Sussex Cricket Board, as the Club and Board seek to grow participation and develop local talent.
Farnrise were appointed as main contractors for the first phase of the County Ground development, which is currently in progress and will complete during 2011. The contract will include the construction of a new Groundsman’s facility, toilets and catering block at the north end of the ground and other minor works.
Farnrise also sponsored Crystal Palace Football Club for the 2009/2010 season.
Our name appeared on the rear of the first team shirts and shorts, as well as branding on the advertising boards at Selhurst Park Stadium for all first team games. This has given Farnrise local, national and international exposure throughout the year including television coverage.
Farnrise were also a match day sponsor at Southampton FC in 2010 for the game against Portsmouth. Farnrise were presented with a signed shirt.
With many of Farnrise staff being football enthusiasts, this has seemed to be a logical vehicle to expand our exposure in London and the Southern Home Counties.
We believe that the partnerships formed with our sporting links, will continue to develop our company brand and help achieve our business ambitions of becoming a leading regional contractor, with a turnover in excess of £100 million.
It is reassuring to find other like-minded organisations in key sporting sectors that share our commitment to corporate social responsibility and share our business ethics.
